Islaamic Studies Lesson On The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)
The Name, Birth, And Death Of The Prophet (ﷺ)
His name: Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul Mutallib bin Haashim Al Quraiyshee
His Birth: He was born in Mecca on a Monday in the year 571 C.E.
His Death: He died in Medinah on the 12th of Rabi Al Awwal 11 A.H, he was 63 years old.
The Prophet (ﷺ) Was The Last Messenger And Prophet Sent To Mankind By Allah.
Allah says,
قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ جَمِيعًا
“Say (O Muhammad (ﷺ): O mankind! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allah…” [Surah Al A’raf: 158]
مُّحَمَّدٌ رَّسُولُ اللَّهِ
“Muhammad (ﷺ) is the Messenger of Allah…” [Surah Al Fath: 29]
مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا
“Muhammad (ﷺ) is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last of the Prophets. And Allah is Ever All Aware of everything.” [Surah Al Ahzab: 40]
The Qur’an Is The Greatest Miracle Of The Prophet (ﷺ)
The Angel Jibreel (عليه السلام) heard the Qur’an from Allah and then conveyed it to the Prophet Muhammad .(ﷺ)
In a hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurairah (رضى الله عنه) he said, The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
