Jealousy, Arrogance And Vain Desires

May Allah destroy jealousy, arrogance and vain desires.

Verily, these blameworthy characteristics drive them and intensify in them to the point of destruction. (These blameworthy characteristics) also move them to wage war against the people of the truth (and seeking to sow) confusion amongst them.

(These blameworthy characteristics) also (cause) them to seek to hinder the people from the path of Allah (which the people of the truth) follow, call to and defend. (These blameworthy characteristics) also move them to beautify and (artificially) adorn falsehood.
