SHAYKH SĀLIH AL-FAWZĀN WAS ASKED...
Q: A Muslim owns a restaurant in the lands of the disbelievers. What is the ruling on opening it during the daytime in Ramadan?
A: It’s NOT permissible for a Muslim to open (his) restaurant in Ramadan for the kuffār. We do not allow nor encourage the kuffar to openly oppose (the religion of) Islām. We do not encourage them with this. The Muslim should not open his restaurant during the daytime (in Ramadan).
